In Our Own Words…
Jane: I wanted to create a sense of a lifestyle- rooms draped in toile, little boys in brightly colored rugby shirts, football fans wrapped in a warm plaid blanket, girlfriends gathering for a cocktail or two. My designs combine my love for the classics, while taking on a fresh approach to traditional patterns and whimsical illustrations. My inspirations come from my cherished memories of beach vacations to Nantucket, travels around the country, images I see online and in my daily lifestyle, my years as a designer in Manhattan, and my move to Seattle. The place I find a lot of my inspiration is from our three daughters, Isabelle, 13, Anna, 11, and Charlotte, 6. It is these experiences that have helped me create the simple elegance of Boatman Geller Collections and makes them perfect for celebrating the special occasions in life, as well as those “everyday” moments that inspire our dreams.

Greg: In 2003, we moved to Jane’s hometown, Indianapolis, Indiana, where I retired from 12 years of teaching and I decided to join Jane in her business full-time. I started in the accounting department and I was taught how to read financials, then I moved on to be production manager and today I am President. I love working for and in Boatman Geller. It is the connections with retailers, bringing new products to the market and general management that gets me excited each day. We thrive every day to engage our audience through all mediums possible. Boatman Geller was, and still is creating quite the buzz.
